As an entry-level police officer, you’ll gain the training, support, and experience necessary to build a long-lasting career in law enforcement while making an immediate impact on one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas.
Step 1: Submit Your Application
Everything begins with your online application. You’ll apply through the City of Fort Worth’s job board. Make sure your application is complete and accurate, and that you meet the minimum qualifications, such as being at least 20 years old by the time they take the Civil Service test (and not older than 50), having a high school diploma or GED, and being a U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license. If you have a GED, you need 12 hours of college credit as well. High school graduates do not need college credit.
